Thoughts for Holy Week
Philippians 2.7-8
Being in very nature God he did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness and being found in appearance as a man he humbled himself.
What a king we have. Every humble act required for our salvation he willingly does.
This may help you worship the servant king
Thoughts for Holy Week
Isaiah 53.2-3
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men a man of sorrows and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised and we esteemed him not
How many failed to see and recognise who Jesus truly was when he lived on earth? Do we ever fail to desire him and esteem him?

Thought for today from Frances.
I went out for my walk today, this scene of the tide coming in and going out is a sure constant. It reminded me that we have a constant God, an unchanging God. A God that we can trust. It brought me comfort in these uncertain and constant changing days.
Much love
Thought for today from Margaret
Psalm c 16 vs 8-9
I keep my eyes always on the Lord, with Him at my right hand I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. Because of the one who is with me every day I can rejoice and be glad.
Thought for the day from Audrey.
Psalm c37 v7
Rest in the lord and wait patiently for Him. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way. Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
Thought for today from Malcolm.
We congratulate them on 56 years of marriage today.
Thoughts from Isaiah 54 vs 16-17 whilst God created the blacksmith and the destroyer to create havoc the promise for believers is that no weapon formed against us will prosper.
We cannot gather in Church buildings but we can gather as a church. We plan to live stream a worship service at 11.30am on the Donegal Church Facebook page. The service should also be live on the Donegal Presbyterian Church website for those not on Facebook. For those not available at 11.30 the recording will stay on the website.
We pass on our condolences to Jean and the whole Perry family on the death of her father early this morning. Do pray for them all at this time when funerals are particularly difficult. The burial will be strictly immediate family.
